About Dancesport Scotland

Dancesport Scotland is the governing body for Ballroom and Latin American dancing in Scotland.

The organisation was established in 1945 to support and encourage competitive and social amateur dancing.

A member of both the British Dance Council and the World Dancesport Federation, Dancesport Scotland organises competitions throughout the year for all ages and grades. We also run open dance days and demonstrations across the country.

Dancesport is open to all age groups from under 12 to over 50. We are committed to young persons welfare and we're currently finalising our Child Protection Policy Document in line with new national guidelines.
